Saints Row 3 is an open world third person action game developed by Voliton.Inc.The game is available in both single and mutiplayer modes. It is also available for all main platforms.Saints row 1 was released on 2006,and the second part on 2008 while the 3rd part was released November 2011.
Plot
The game is similar to Grand Theft Auto series whether its crashing cars, killing people in mass number etc. but in Saint Row unlike the GTA series you play the role of antagonist rather than a protagonist. After the success of Saints Row 2 ,the player ,the leader of a street gang starts the game pulling off a bank heist. It doesn't work out well for the gang which ends up in a gunfight between them and the police eventually they get caught by the SWAT team and are imprisoned. After the huge fallout it comes into light that a criminal organisation bribed the police into releasing the Saints. They are forcibly taken to the Syndicate leader where he makes them a deal ,the Saints will be allowed to live if they turn two-third of their revenue to the Syndicate. The Saints refuse the deal and are able to find their way out of the situation but one of the Saints gets killed and this is where the game starts.Compared to the first two parts of the game Saints Row 3 's storyline isnt polished ,half way through the game the story sort of drifts away out of focus and point.SR1 was comparatively descent and SR2 was downrightly hilarious and best out of the 3 games.
Gameplay
In SR3 you freely explore the world performing missions and side jobs. The mission can be started using mobile phone found in your inventory.Sucessfully completing mission will earn you in-game money, guns and the street respect. There are experience points similar to World of Warcraft where completing the quests earns you exp points and grants you level where the maximum level in the game is 50.While leveling you are able to purchase attributes to improve your character skills .If you having trouble completing a mission or having problems with enemies you can call up your gang and have them swing by your side to help you.Around the city ,there are plenty of things to do,there are different types of mode to finalize mission. You can pretty much call an airstrike to blow up the enemy skyscrapers and buildings.Aside from the single player mission you are able to Co-op with a friend and complete the game with that person. But still the game isnt as smooth or fun as the first two parts of the game but still you can pretty much enjoy the chaos and havoc.
Overall
Saints Row 3 as an whole isnt a big game as whole you can pretty much complete the game in 1 day unlike GTA which was pretty much longer than SR3.After some time the gameplay is repetitive. There is mode in Saints Row 3 in which you to save the city from a horde of zombies,i would say that the most the enjoyable part of the game is this mode. But overall the game is comparatively okay but could have been more better.
